Working with me

  • I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with specialized training in providing compassionate, evidence-based care. My approach is tailored to individual needs, incorporating holistic and integrative methods.

  • I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, women’s health issues, self-exploration, life transitions, and general mental health concerns. My approach is client-centered and focused on fostering resilience, growth, and healing.

  • My therapeutic approach is holistic, client-centered, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I integrate evidence-based modalities with a strong foundation in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Somatic Therapy to support emotional processing, self-exploration, and mind-body healing. My goal is to create a supportive and adaptable therapeutic space that fosters resilience, personal growth, and overall well-being.

  • A Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) is a therapist who has met the requirements to practice under the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) while completing additional clinical experience and supervision. As a Qualifying member, I adhere to the same professional and ethical standards as fully registered psychotherapists and work under supervision to ensure high-quality care.

How does this affect you as a client?

    • You will receive the same level of professional care and confidentiality as you would with a fully registered psychotherapist.

    • My work is supervised by an experienced clinician, which means I receive additional guidance to enhance the support I provide.

    • Many extended health benefits plans cover services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.

About Therapy

  • Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy, is a collaborative process where you work with a trained therapist to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, develop coping strategies, and improve overall well-being. It provides a safe, non-judgmental space for personal growth and healing.

  • If you are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem, life transitions, or any other emotional or psychological concerns, therapy can be a valuable tool. A free 15-minute consultation can help you determine if my approach aligns with your needs.

Logistics & Accessibility

  • Yes! I primarily offer virtual therapy via Jane, allowing you to access sessions from the comfort of your own home.

  • Yes! I offer in-person sessions every Saturday at The Therapy Commons- 3425 Harvester Rd, Burlington- Unit 213

  • Many extended health benefits plans cover psychotherapy services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), but coverage varies by provider. I recommend checking with your insurance company to confirm whether they reimburse sessions with an RP (Qualifying).

    Here’s how it works:

    • I do not bill insurance directly. Clients pay for their session upfront and receive a receipt.

    • You can submit this receipt to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

    • If your plan does not explicitly list coverage for RP (Qualifying), you may still be eligible—some insurers cover all Registered Psychotherapists, including Qualifying members. It’s always best to confirm with your provider.

  • I require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a cancellation fee.
